PRAYER BREAKFASTS
The Milngavie Churches Prayer Breakfasts continue on a monthly basis when Christians from all the Milngavie Churches come together to pray for local, national and international needs.  The morning commences at 8.00 am for breakfast and 8.45 am to 9.30 am for prayer.  All are welcome.

Future dates are :
Saturday 7 June 2008 in St Andrew’s Church

At the Prayer Breakfast on Saturday 1 March, 25 people from 6 of the Milngavie Churches prayed for the Christian witness in Milngavie that it might be effective, for the Community in Milngavie that they may see God’s love in action in our lives, and for the wider world that peace may be experienced in Gaza, Ethiopia, Kenya, Darfur etc.

CHRISTIANITY EXPLORED
Last year the churches in Milngavie organised a joint Christianity Explored course in the Fraser Centre.  It proved to be a well attended event and resulted in several attendees making a decision to join a local church.

A further course took place each Monday night at 7.30 pm from Monday 21 January to Monday 10 March 2008 in the Fraser Centre, Milngavie.  An Away Day was held on Saturday 23 February 2008.

WEEK OF PRAYER FOR CHRISTIAN UNITY
This was held by the Milngavie Churches from Sunday 20 January to Saturday 26 January.  On Sunday 20 January each of the Milngavie Churches sent a representative to another Church to take part in the Sunday worship at that Church.  In addition there were be two prayer ‘hot spots’ which members of all churches were encouraged to attend.  One was be in St. Andrew’s Episcopal church at 10.00 am on Tuesday 22 January and the other at St. Paul’s on Wednesday 23 January at 1.15 pm. The latter followed on from the lunch club which met at 12.15 pm and provision was made for anyone who wished to partake of soup, sandwiches and home baking.

SUMMER HOLIDAY CLUB
This is for school children of P1 to P7 age and will be held in Allander from Monday 30 June to Friday 4 July.  If you would like to enrol your child or find out more about this activity e mail Elaine Kinloch who is organising this event.
